Client Profile
Two seasoned travelers from North America.
Interested in landscapes, history, and places far from mass tourism.
The Idea
They had seen cities before.
This time, they wanted space — wide skies, silence, and stories written into the land.
We designed a route through Gansu, following traces of the Silk Road.
The Journey
Days moved between desert highways and ancient towns.
They stood beneath the Mogao Caves, traced faded murals with their eyes, and watched sunset spill across endless dunes.
Nights were simple and quiet — local meals, early rest, conversations about history and distance.
Why It Worked
The journey didn’t explain China to them.
It let China speak for itself.
