Client Profile
A family of six traveling together: grandparents, parents, and two teenagers.
Different energy levels, shared curiosity.
The Challenge
Family trips succeed only when everyone feels considered.
Too busy, and someone gets tired.
Too slow, and someone gets bored.
The Design
We created a flexible itinerary across Beijing and Chengdu, blending private guided experiences with unstructured personal time.
While the grandparents explored hutong neighborhoods at a relaxed pace, the teenagers joined hands-on activities — calligraphy, cooking, and a behind-the-scenes look at Sichuan Opera.
Evenings were always reserved for the family to come back together — shared meals, quiet conversations, and rest.
Moments That Mattered
A courtyard lunch in Beijing.
Laughing over hotpot in Chengdu.
Watching three generations experience the same place, differently — and together.
Why It Worked
The journey didn’t try to force “togetherness.”
It allowed it to happen naturally.
